BEYOND THE GREY | OBUHLE BABY SIHU We sit down with Joshua Goss, ANC councillor candidate for Ward 19, for a conversation that goes beyond the usual political talking points. We explore how countries position themselves in the world — how they understand their interests, their relationships, their power and their responsibilities. But perhaps the bigger question is closer to home: How should someone position themselves to truly serve a community? Is leadership about power, influence and political positioning — or is it about listening, understanding and putting the interests of the people first? Join us as we go Beyond the Grey and explore what it really means to position yourself for service. #BeyondTheGrey #ObuhleBabySihu #JoshuaGoss #Ward19 #Leadership #Community #PublicService #Politics

Dr Noma Mbeki | Entrepreneur, Philanthropist & Musician In this inspiring conversation, we sit down with Dr Noma Mbeki, entrepreneur, philanthropist and musician, to discuss her journey from business and community development to becoming known in music circles as Queen Noma. Dr Noma shares the inspiration behind the first annual Anti-Pens Down Campaign in Mdantsane, an initiative aimed at encouraging matriculants to celebrate responsibly and make choices that protect their futures. With the powerful theme “It’s Your Future: Own It, Don’t Waste It,” she speaks openly about the challenges young people face, including substance abuse, violence, sexual assault and other risks associated with Anti-Pens Down celebrations. She also shares her message to learners about taking responsibility, making positive choices and believing in their dreams. We also explore Dr Noma’s passion for education and youth empowerment through the Dr Noma Mbeki Foundation, which has invested millions of rands in education and accommodation for underprivileged pupils. From building a career in business with interests in property and mining, to making the bold decision to pursue music later in life, Dr Noma reflects on the challenges she overcame and the philosophy that continues to guide her: as long as you are alive, your dream is still alive.
